Luna: Light + Air: Between open and closed

Context

An open door invites movement. A closed door creates separation.

Luna explores the space between those states - where a door becomes an environmental mediator rather than a boundary.

The project asks how light, air, and sound might pass between rooms without fully opening or closing space.

Insight

Separation does not have to be absolute.

By tuning degrees of openness, architecture can expand perceived space without removing boundaries.

Resolution

The result is a door with a quiet, almost ambiguous presence. Adjustable apertures allow occupants to shape light, air, and sound in real time, creating a state of being neither fully open nor fully closed.
